The Bike ...

... is packed for the big tour with the Ortlieb saddlebags on the luggage rack. Well, not actually that big, but still it turned out to be 3 days with around 60 miles of hills per day.

In September 2007 I had the idea of going to the Eifel - to Kalterherberg, to be exact - for three days, and it turned out to be a wonderful trip.

... far in the distance. Here, it's just after the first little climb - if you can call that a climb at all - to the top of the Vorgebirge [about 150 ft of elevation]. Vollenhoven is just behind and Rheinbach still before me.
