The Alatsee ...
... just outside and a little ways uphill of Bad Faulenbach - a suburb of Füssen - was my first rest stop on this bike ride. Not because I really needed a rest that soon, but because it was such a lovely view.

Vilser Scharte
And from the Alatsee, it was just across the mountain ridge through the Vilser Scharte and downhill on a path that was more suitable to mountains bikes than to the Stevens. |
