Taos Pueblo

The North House (Hlauuma): The North House ranges from one to five stories high. Each door is at the entrance to a different privately owned home. They are passed on from generation to generation. Work is constantly in progress on maintaining the adobe plaster, the roofs and painted woodwork. Paint colour selection is entirely based on the personal preferences of the owners.
